Atomic Venture Capital
Focused on changing the traditional VC model, Atomic funds and founds companies like Hims and Bungalow.
As a Content and Social Media Intern, I:
Took complete ownership of @JoinAtomic on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Medium
Initiated an organic social media strategy that generated 2x the engagement across all platforms
Researched and wrote the International Women’s Day Blog
Used Hootsuite Insights and platform-native insights to track growth and generate weekly analytics reports
HACK THE NORTH
Founded in the infamous Toronto-Waterloo Tech Corridor, also known as the Silicon Valley of the North, this 36 hour event brings together 1500 of the brightest minds in tech to build something incredible.
As the Social Media Lead, I:
Managed the paid and organic content strategy across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that has a combined audience of 10,000
Created and executed an editorial calendar for multiple social platforms
Organically increased audience size on Facebook by 2x, and Twitter/Instagram by 0.5x
WATERLOO UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION
The University of Waterloo is home to 25,000 undergraduate students who are represented by WUSA.
As the Communications Coordinator, I:
Took full ownership of all external communications online, including social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Developed a “student support” CX guide for responding to inquiries
Regularly contributed to news stories- pitching, researching, writing, and publishing
