Hi, I’m Julie Nguyen!
I’m a growth marketer who owns acquisition, experimentation, and measurement — not just execution. I’ve scaled paid search and social across B2B SaaS and consumer apps, using analytics to understand what’s actually driving results and where growth is being left on the table.
I do my best work on high-impact teams with a high bar. Outside of work, I’m a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, which shapes how I approach growth — with focus, discipline, and an eye toward sustainable progress.
Selected Growth Work
Thunkable
No-code app builder | DTC SaaS | 2-person growth team
Thunkable is a no-code platform for building and publishing mobile apps. I joined as a Marketing & Analytics Specialist and owned paid acquisition and performance analysis end-to-end.
I turned branded search into a reliable conversion engine and launched non-branded and discovery campaigns from scratch, scaling acquisition to 214% ROAS.
Rather than stopping at surface-level performance, I used regression and time-based analysis to understand what actually drove signups, guiding budget allocation and channel priorities.
Feeld
Consumer mobile app | Startup | Lean team
Feeld is a consumer dating app with a small, fast-moving growth team. I worked across acquisition and lifecycle, supporting experimentation in a low-signal, high-ambiguity environment.
I ran experiments across paid channels, partnerships, lifecycle, and offline initiatives, and led App Store Optimization across iOS and Android, contributing to ~5% month-over-month growth in organic installs. The role emphasized fast iteration, creative testing, and learning under real constraints.
Cority Software
Enterprise B2B SaaS | Large Enterprise Marketing Team
Cority is the leading enterprise SaaS company in the EHS space. I owned paid acquisition across search, social, and display within a large demand generation team.
I managed a $1.8M annual budget, driving a 26% increase in lead volume in six months, followed by an additional 13% lift through changes to channel mix, targeting, and creative direction. I translated performance data into clear narratives that informed budget and go-to-market decisions.

When Paid Spend Actually Drives Growth
Thunkable - DTC SaaS
Question
Does increasing paid spend reliably translate into more signups, and when does that impact show up?
Analysis & insight
Rather than assuming higher spend would automatically improve ROAS or conversions, I analyzed how spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions related to downstream signups over time. The analysis showed that performance didn’t scale linearly and that meaningful impact often appeared with a lag, depending on channel and spend level.
Impact
This reframed how spend was evaluated and paced, leading to more confident budget decisions, greater consistency in signup volume, and clearer expectations around growth performance.
What Actually Drives Airline Customer Satisfaction
Airline Review Analysis — Product & CX
Question
What parts of the airline experience most influence customer satisfaction and likelihood to recommend?
Analysis & insight
I analyzed thousands of airline reviews across multiple carriers and routes, combining ratings with text-based sentiment. The analysis showed that perceived value for money and cabin staff experience were stronger drivers of satisfaction than amenities like food or entertainment.
Impact
The findings point to clear product and CX priorities: invest in value perception, service quality, and communication rather than over-indexing on premium features. These insights translate directly to retention and brand trust in consumer products.
